User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information and for all activities that occur under their account. Users must immediately notify Biddy of any unauthorized use of their account or any other breach of security.

By using Biddy, users agree to provide accurate and complete information about themselves and to update this information promptly when it changes. Users are also responsible for ensuring that their use of the platform complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy

Biddy is committed to preventing money laundering and combating the financing of illegal activities. We adhere to applicable anti-money laundering regulations and require users to comply with these regulations while using our platform.

Users must ensure that their activities on Biddy do not involve, facilitate, or support money laundering or any other illegal activities. We reserve the right to conduct identity verification checks, monitor transactions, and report suspicious activities to the relevant authorities.

Biddy may, at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate accounts suspected of being involved in money laundering activities. Users must cooperate with any inquiries or investigations related to potential breaches of anti-money laundering regulations.

Violation of this policy may result in account suspension, termination, or legal action in accordance with applicable laws.

Dispute Policies for Escrow Services

Biddy provides escrow services to ensure secure transactions between buyers and sellers. In the event of a dispute, we encourage users to first attempt to resolve the issue directly with the other party. If the dispute remains unresolved, Biddy's support team will step in to facilitate a resolution.

Disputes must be submitted within the designated time frame as specified in the transaction agreement. Biddy reserves the right to request additional documentation or evidence to support the claims made by either party.

Our decision regarding the release of escrowed funds will be based on the evidence provided, platform policies, and any applicable laws. Biddy's resolution is considered final and binding. If a resolution cannot be reached, users may seek legal recourse outside the platform, at which point the escrow funds may be held until a court order is provided.

Biddy does not guarantee any specific outcome for disputes and is not liable for any losses resulting from the resolution process. Users are responsible for providing truthful information, and any fraudulent claims may lead to account suspension or legal action.

Prohibited Activities

Users may not engage in any activity that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harms the integrity of the Biddy platform. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Posting false, misleading, or deceptive information.
• Violating intellectual property rights.
• Engaging in fraudulent transactions or impersonation.
• Uploading or distributing viruses or malicious software.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts, Biddy's systems, or data.

Any user found engaging in prohibited activities may have their account suspended or terminated without notice.

User-Generated Content

Biddy allows users to post content, including product listings, reviews, and comments. By posting content on Biddy, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, modify, publish, display, and distribute your content.

Users are solely responsible for the content they post and must ensure that it does not violate any laws or infringe on the rights of others. Biddy reserves the right to remove any content that we determine to be inappropriate, unlawful, or in violation of these Terms of Service.

Limitation of Liability

Biddy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our platform. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your content or data.

Biddy's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the use of our platform is limited to the amount paid, if any, by you to Biddy in the past twelve months for the services giving rise to the claim.

Account Suspension and Termination

Biddy reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe that you have violated these Terms of Service or that your actions may harm Biddy or its users.

Upon termination, you will no longer have access to your account or the services provided by Biddy. Any funds held in your account may be forfeited if the termination is due to fraudulent or unlawful activity.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any disputes arising out of or related to them will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any legal action or proceeding related to these Terms of Service must be brought in a court located in Nigeria, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

Changes to These Terms of Service

Biddy may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. If we make material changes to these terms, we will notify you through our platform or via email.

Your continued use of the platform after the changes have been posted will constitute your acceptance of the updated Terms of Service.
